A poem

The pain was just begining to come..
She could feel it creeping up on her
like pioson that hasn't kicked in.
She stared up at the sky and saw only darkness
not a moon , no stars , not a light to be seen.
She grasped the grass, clutching her fists.
The pain rushed in her body like a wave crashing against the shore.
The ground started to sink around her, taking her with it.
Deep into the earth, deeper then ever known possible,
she saw just darkness ..
She couldn't move, speak , even think.
The only thing that she could feel was the pain that took over her whole body.
She tried to open her eyes, but it was as if they were glued shut.
She finally opened her eyes and felt the bed around her.
The pain was still there, burning in her chest
a fire as hot as the surface of the sun.
She sat up in her bed and looked around.
She closed her eyes and was back into the ground.
She opened them as quick as she could.
She grabbed her heart as if it was missing.
She closed her eyes again, and began sinking in the earth.
She mad her lips move and forced sound to come out.
"When you close your eyes its all the same darkness."
