Is there any of the films adaptations that have made you angry because they’ve ignored important parts of the book
So I love the movies and the books, I think they are both awesome. I understand that they can't fit the whole book in the movie, but I mean come on. Im pretty sure you could have fit in Ginny & Harry's six month relationship. Now it just looks like it was one kiss and then nineteen years later they are married. Then there's Dumbledore's funeral. How could you leave that out? He was like a father or grandfather to Harry, and they wouldn't give him a funeral, yet they are giving Dobby one. I love Dobby, but come on. Also, they left out how Harry gave all his Tri Wizard winnings to Fred & George for their joke shop. I don't know why this bothered me so much, it just did. Oh and while were on the fourth book, Harry and the Weasley's were at the Top Box, with the Minster. The movie made it look like they are poor. I still love everything. I think the movies are very well done.
the main issue with books being turned to movies is exactly that.. they miss out on the entirety of the parts that make you fall in love with reading the book.

ReplyDeleteim planning to get on the ginormous bandwagon this school year though.
and its wierd because i've seen scattered bits of the movies. LIke i saw the first one at a summer camp like 8 years ago and i saw the second one when i was younger and it scared the shit out of me (still does, hahha) and i've seen a tinsey bit of the fourth, i saw the fifth one in theaters and i recently saw the last one that came out.
i honestly dont even know how many movies are out.
If there are any MUST READ books I would recommend it's the Harry Potter Series. Watch all of the movies too !! They are amazing, and there is 6 at the momment. In the total there will be 8. There are 7 books. The last movie is split into two movies, because they wanted to cover all the important parts of the last book, because it is FILLED with fun packed adventures ! So if you would like, check them out. I'm thinking it will be time worth spent !
